Construction Practice of Space with children

Participating in the early stages of space construction projects,we provide consultation associating child care experiences and professional space construction knowledge.We also propose for comfortable activity zone for parents and children, safe playground, cozy nursing room etc.

Research Study with Academic-Industrial Collaboration

Cooperating with the leading authority of nursing room study, Associate Professor NakaAyako, we conducted a survey research in children growing environment.As the 1st step, a temporary nursing room is introduced into a NOMURA entrusted facility, users’ behaviors are observed, group interviews and questionnaire surveys are conducted.As a result, preferable nursing environment in public facilities is verified, report is composed and published at academic conference.Through this research, the importance of nursing environment for families is recognized.It also leads to the decision of introducing nursing room into the facility,which improves the hospitality of the facility.

For a more reassuring, safe and comfortable space

In order to prevent child accidents via engineering approach,Design handbook is written under the supervision of r. Yoshifumi Nishida from National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology,who conducts research on kids design, and Dr. Tatsuhiro Yamanaka (pediatrician), chief director of Safe Kids Japan,who is committed to child accident prevention.Gathering various information including children’s behavioral characteristics, body size, physical abilities in different age groups, and accidents happened in public places, etc.in our company, it serves space design well where children are also supposed to visit.

To consider working pattern

A supporting program is held for those who return from maternity leave.It is to help these staff be familiar with company’s rules and regulations, and to give these staff reason to work hard upon their return.Team M appreciate the feelings of returning staff, by sharing challenges and ideas,They inspires people to find most suitable working patterns for themselves.
